This Christmas was my baby daughters first one and a blessed one it was. I sat in the living room at my in laws house and i have to say i was a bit in shock to see how many gifts my daughter was getting and almost got emotional just watching one after the other be opened. I don't mean to get spiritual on ya but when you have a desire to walk hand in hand with God you can't help but see things in different light many times, so i have to say my mind kinda stopped for a sec and it was as if God said Now look at all the gifts your daughter has been showered with, don' t you know i love you so much and I want to shower you with many more gifts and blessings.. wow so i had to tell someone and i told my mother in law :) My in laws love Jalyse so much and i have to say God loves us SO MUCH. I went into this Christmas season kind of in a fog not really wanting gifts and all the glits that goes along with the season, but i wanted to be very careful of how i approached it this year around and didn't want to be materialistic about it. I wanted to blog about this illustration cause it effected me and hope someone else can see it in the same way. I love CHIRST's illustrations cause after all He is the greatest illustrator to walk this earth and still is, and that is why i want to keep my spiritual eyes open daily through His creation.
